Artiste Developer & Industry Consultant
Audrey Gray, Founder of
GRAiD "Right Standard, Right Representation"
Primarily servicing GRAiD and GLOW Entertainment under her consultant name, AG Consultancy, Audrey Gray offers consultation as a Music and Talent Based Company Consultant and Industry Speaker, to a wide variety of Music Industry Developers via Skype consultation and private /one-on-one Consultation.
Audrey attributes all her various roles, many working relationships and experiences as a Vocal Coach/Producer, Booking Agent, Artiste Music Manager, Consultant and Industry Developer to this drive, to invest her efforts into her local Gospel Industry and by extension the Global Music Market. One of her common quotes that solidify this progression is, “people evolute your business for you, this is the nature of any talent based business, because it’s a life based business”.

Finding herself in the heart of, what she calls “Talentvile”, which she defines as any highly talent saturated but structurally unstable music environment, GRAiD is dedicated to building this underdeveloped Gospel Music Market and helping it to become an established Gospel Music Industry. It serves all the Music Industry Developers that are instrumental in the development of the overall music product. GRAiD’s motto of ‘Right Standard and Right Representation’, is actively promoting the advancement of the Gospel Music Industry via education, development and consultancy in the form of forums, workshops and events.
In 2009 Audrey Gray teamed with a fellow Music Manager to form GLOW Entertainment, allowing the expansion of services to their music community. This collaborated effort not only provided services to some of the best Gospel Artistes in Trinidad & Tobago through Management, Booking and Consultancy services, but it also sort to assist entrepreneurs to develop their businesses. The re-structuring, re-branding and marketing of any company is pivotal in the developing market and ever-changing musical environment. This further highlighted the need for GRAiD, as much of the Gospel Music Market neglected the Business of Music. “For any Market to develop into an Industry, it is crucial to pay attention to the ‘business aspect’ of the business”, she said, “The penalty of forfeiting this blocks development”. This is no different in “Kingdom business”. Audrey views gospel music as the musical arm of evangelism, in this context it can be seen as a marketing tool, it has the power to deliver the Word in song. For this to work more effectively we must present Right Standard and Right Representation and expose opportunities for this musical “great commission” to be delivered. |
